Richard Avedon

First: this is my self-made bloc party shirt. It's a quick and crappy picture, but you get the idea ;) So tonight's the concert and I'm so excited!!

Yesterday I've been to an exposition on Richard Avedon in Foam, Amsterdam. It was beautiful! I wish I could make such pictures, that man was a real artist with fashion.

And the day after tomorrow I'm going to a Bloc Party concert in Paradiso, Amsterdam. Looking forward to it! Don't you just adore their album cover? I'm gonna try to brush this on a t-shirt with some special paper I bought. Hope I'll succeed! I'll show you a picture if I do so :)

New York Fashion Week

Last days I have been ill and all I did was lying on my bed. So no, sadly I haven't been to Amsterdam yesterday. Now we (boyfriend and I) are probably going there Wednesday. I haven't been able to blog so now I want to show you a couple of things:

First: These are items I'm going to hunt for in Amsterdam:


1.'Jeggings'

The so-called jeans-leggings. I really like it, the ultimate skinnies :) (That's Miranda Kerr by the way)







2. Bodysuit

I absolutely adore Karla's bodysuit. Maybe I can find something like it and see if I can wear it as good as she does. That girl's amazing. She should start her own label!













3. Jumpsuit

4. Fringed top

Horrible Day

Yes, today was a horrible day indeed. I went to school this morning with a little pain in my throat, and ended up with more pain, a headache and fever... Probably because yesterday I went through snow and rain on my bicycle, in a miniskirt.. So. I'm just hoping I'll be better soon, this saturday it's Valentine's day and I'm going to Amsterdam with my boyfriend for some serious shopping. Really looking forward to it.




I absolutely want to see this exhibition: Mick Rock - Rock-'n-Roll Kate (From January 27 until March 4 at V!P's Amsterdam). I love Kate Moss, or actually I love her at photoshoots. To be honest -I absolutely LOVE her personal style, but.. - I think she should brush her hair once. I mean, there's a girl at school who's been having her hair that way for 5 years now, and the entire world thinks it looks hideous...! Anyway, I think I'm gonna ask a friend of mine, who's very fond of photograpy, to come with me. ( http://www.vipsart.nl/current-amsterdam.html )

One last thing: I really like the idea of a long, black, transparent skirt for my gala dress. I'm planning to create my own and it has to be perfect. What do you think? (it's about the skirt, not the upper part)

Arthur Elgort

This guy is one of my favorite photographers! The way he uses light is just incredibly wonderful. He also did pictures of ballet, which I like a lot (I spend 7 years of my life dancing ballet). Enjoy the photos!
